Beet Day 2023 at Nordic Beet Research

On 15 June we had a very exciting Beet Day 2023 at Nordic Beet Research in Denmark.

In the trial fields, beet cultivation machines were shown as well as trials with fertilizers, weed control and plant diseases.

There was exciting news about the use of biostimulants in sugar beet, which will be used more in sustainable sugar beet cultivation in the future.

Our varieties CASTELLO and NAKSKOV were well represented with two plots and a beautiful final establishment.

As a tradition, we handed out cakes to all the beet growers after lunch, and there was a good atmosphere and lively conversation at our stand.
