Customer training in Russia

In February, March and April, the MariboHilleshög team conducted a series of seminars and training events for customers and sugar beet farmers in various regions of the Russian Federation. More than 200 people took part.

At the meetings, MariboHilleshög presented a comprehensive material covering most aspects of the sugar industry. Interesting facts and useful information were given, supported by the experience of many years of work in this field. Technical experts and Sales Managers presented our company in its updated form on the Russian market as MariboHilleshög LLC, told its interesting history and highlighted plans for the future.

They also presented the product portfolio of the Maribo and Hilleshög brand, told about the breeding and seed production, shared the experience of their European colleagues, and demonstrated the results of our hybrids in the fields of different regions of Russia and in different climatic conditions over the past years.

There was also an excursion into the world sugar market and the sugar market of the CIS countries – which was positively received by the audience, since this information allows our customers to be aware of what is happening, understand trends and assess the situation in the sugar market as a whole, which is certainly important for working in the field of agriculture.

Next season, we plan to expand the number of such events and make it one of the main activities of communication with our customers to build a trusting and long-term partnership.
