Hilleshög sugar beet brand at DLG field days 2018

From 12 to 14 June 2018 at the International DLG Crop Production Center in Bernburg the 16th International field days took place under the slogan: Crop Production 2030 – Productivity. Innovations. Strategies.

The German Agricultural Association (DLG) celebrated the 30th anniversary of this platform for all agricultural stakeholders.

Many of the sugar beet related customers such as farmers, sugar industries, grower associations, whole sales/retailers, institutes and advisory services among the 20,000 visitors from 20 countries had the chance to meet the German sales team.

Many topics were discussed: resistance to pesticides; approval-related loss of important active ingredients for crop protection; loss of biodiversity; problems due to too narrow crop rotations; and new measures aimed at protecting water and soil. Obviously, our MariboHilleshög breeding of robust varieties is well prepared to answer most of these challenges farmers are facing in their daily work.

All in all, within the 3 days the German team welcomed and showed the presence of the re-established HILLESHÖG brand and its credibility – Seeing is believing.
